During her recent visit to Timor Leste, Debbie Locke was able to discuss in detail plans and costings for the new school building to be built at Escola Pre-secondaria Foho Ailico and funded by The Grub Club.

Project Manager Jino Pereria, builder Johnny Costa and designer Edi Freitas were able to draw up comprehensive plans for the building and do a cost comparison between buying goods in Dili compared to Same, the closest large town.

Transport costs between Dili and Bei Cala, which would be higher, also need to be considered.

We hope to have the building under way this year.
